St. Paul, Alberta - Follow Highway 28 Northeast of Edmonton, Alberta and you’ll find St. Paul, the town that built a UFO Landing Pad to celebrate Canada’s centennial in 1967. The Hon. Paul Hellyer, Minister of Defense, even flew in by helicopter to officially open it. The $11,000 cost was donated by members of the community and the land was provided by the town. A UFO Interpretive Display has been opened in the adjacent tourist information centre, with photos of UFO’s, crop circles, cattle mutilations, and information on hoaxes.
