The West Edmonton Mall has the world's first indoor Bungy Jump

Edmonton, Alberta - The indoor bungy jump is just one of many unique features at what the Guinness Book of Records has dubbed 'the world's largest shopping center' - the West Edmonton Mall. The complex has 800 stores, covers an area equal to 48 sq city blocks, and promotes itself as 'The Greatest Indoor Show on Earth'. There's the waterpark (that's five acres of water and the world's largest wave pool), the NHL-size ice arena, submarines, 25 rides and amuseument attractions, 21 theatres, a full-size exact replica of Columbus' ship the 'Santa Maria', and an hotel with the fantasy-themed rooms (Igloo, Roman, Arabian, Hollywood, Truck, etc) ..... oh, yeah, and the world's largest parking lot to get lost in. Bungy jumpers wear a waist harness and launch from a trampoline-like surface.
