| Visit this ‘hot spot’ and you can see one of the coolest and craziest races in the world - the INTERNATIONAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BATHTUB RACE. It started as a ‘Centennial Event’ in 1967, with 200 craft competiting. The 57-kilometre (36-mile) race is now the main attraction of Nanaimo's annual four-day Marine Festival. |
