‘Eye of the Wind’ Grouse Mountain, Vancouver

Grouse Mountain, Vancouver – Vancouver has the world’s only working wind turbine with viewing platform, complete with a glass floor panel! The 65-metre tower is located on Grouse Mountain a 15-minute from downtown. Called ‘Eye of the Wind,‘ it enables visitor to stand in a clear glass pod (you reach the pod by elevator) and get a 360 degree view, while standing just three metres from it’s 37.4-metre rotating blades.
