It continues to be recognized as one of the world’s finest, known for a clean sharp taste. Environment Canada rears millions of Malpeque Oyster larvae, then they are cultivated in tidal bays and estuaries and planted in growing beds where they mature for five years. 10 km north of the town of Summerside, the small village of Tyne Valley celebrates the Malpeque Oysters with a three-day festival in early August, featuring fried oysters, fiddling, dancing, etc

Where: Joined to New Brunswick by the 12.9 km Confederation Bridge, Canada’s smallest province, rolling rural Prince Edward Island, is just 225 km wide. Historic Charlottetown is the birthplace of Canada’s Confederation, and a great place to celebrate Canada Day. Island explorers can find great golf opportunities, beautiful beaches, the world’s only potato museum, Anne of Green Gables sites, lobster dinners, and a 70-mile-long September yard sale.

  1. Do you only sell commercially or do you sell private. Was in P.E.I. last year and love your oysters. I live in Medicine Hat Alberta. If you do not sell privately do you have a distributor that I might order from and what are the minimum orders and prices? Thank you so much from a prairie girl that lives your province and product.
