London, Ontario – In the movie ‘Walk the Line’ Johnny Cash proposes to June Carter on stage, during the middle of a preformance in Ontario. The event was real and actually took place at the London Gardens Arena. The venue eventually became the London Ice House, the home of the Junior A hockey team the London Knights. Today the building is still standing, but it is now a bicycle Velodrome.
London Ontario is a two-hour drive southwest of Toronto. Like its namesake, it sits on the Thames River and visitors can tour via Double Decker bus.
