
Keith Morrison
Lloydminster, Saskatchewan – Award-winning NBC news correspondent Keith Morrison, who is seen on Dateline NBC, was born in Lloydminster.
Morrison got is bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Saskatoon, and started his journalism career in 1966 with the Saskatoon Star Phoenix. During his career in Canada he worked for CFTO-TV, Toronto; CHAN-TV (now BCTV), Vancouver; and CFOC, Saskatoon, Canada A.M., CTV News, and the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), where he helped to develop “Midday,” the first daytime news and interview program on the CBC.
He is married to Suzanne Perry Morrison, who was press secretary to Pierre Trudeau. He’s also the step-father of famous ‘Friends’ actor, Ottawa-raised Matthew Perry.
