
Forget Saskatchewan
Forget, Saskatchewan – Fortunately for the approximately 35 residents of the community of Forget, Saskatchewan, the name is actually pronounced ‘For-jay.’ According to Wikipedia this village is named in honour of Amédée E. Forget, the first Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan. You’ll find it about 90 minutes South East of Regina, or 5 hours west of Winnipeg. The local non-profit Ananda Arthouse calls the town ‘The Small Town With Big Music.’ It holds events at the Happy Nun Cafe.
