Ice Canoe Racing Photo
Wanuskewin, Saskatchewan - You can sleep in a tipi at this 300-acre heritage site just five minutes from Saskatoon. This site, known as Wanuskewin, has been a gathering place for First Nation's people for more than 6,000 years. Archaeological digs continue on the site, with artifacts uncovered that pre-date the pyramids. Many are on display. Tipi overnight stays are offered.
