Lloydminster, Saskatchewan - Award-winning NBC news correspondent seen on Dateline NBC, was born in Lloydmister. He got is bachelor's degree in history from the University of Saskatoon, and started his journalism career in 1966 with the Saskatoon Star Phoenix. He's also the step-father of famous 'Friends' actor, Ottawa-raised Matthew Perry.
